This piece was commissioned for the owner of a new Feadship launched recently. The panel is a 2m x 1m piece and is hung in the stair lobby on board.

‘The client provided a photo he took himself, the view from his home, and I used this as direct inspiration for this work’.

 

‘BRD worked with Drillworks recently on an installation on board a superyacht, realising the owners wishes to recreate the view from his home onboard, at sunset.

The piece is a great success, acting as a focal point on entry, and the owner was thrilled with the result!  It was a great pleasure working with Drew’

Drilling was mostly 2mm, angled left and right to enhance distinction between sea and sky.

 

 

Due to constraints in depth we had a maximum of 20mm to play with, LED light sheet solved this problem and provided a lovely rich, golden light to illuminate the work.
